Karin Petersen-Schaefer

Australian author. Born in Melbourne in 1955. Has written articles for Australian Horse News, an adult novel and I think just the two children's pony novels, both of which feature her own horse Miss Moo. As well as horses, her interests are eclectic and include history, feminist poets and the bagpipes!

Horses for Courses Riding School Series:
Quite a nice introduction to Aussie books for English readers as the main character, Melody, is English and has moved to Australia to live. Well written traditional pony stories. As far as I know only the two in series.
